SEPIA TONES

I have almost no words, but one...sorry..
I've been camping out at the Vogue headquarters this last month gone, it's been something i tell you!
I set up home at The world of Interiors magazine and stuck my teeth in to plenty! I assisted interiors stylist, Miranda Sinclair on a 2 day interiors shoot for a feature on side tables.
'Sure, side tables??' you say... this sounds drab, but i assure you, it was anything but!
Miranda had designed a small set in which the tables were  suspended and hidden behind large cut outs, casting warped shadows and sale.

The photographer (Frank) was shooting manually (not a fan of digital), which was extremely time consuming due to the number of test shots having to be done! However the grainy-ness, colouring, sepia tones and hues he achieved in the final images, would not have been achievable through shooting digitally..so it was a big win in the end.

Images shall follow of course, but not until published in February..YAWN !

The images above are a collection of illustrations and collages of mine from a while back, which have influenced a new series of illustrations focusing on sepia tones...x
